The delegates from the Republic of Tatarstan and Pirelli’s representatives met in Milan to discuss cooperation in synthetic rubbers business. During the meeting Nizhnekamskneftekhim and Pirelli signed a new contract.
On December 13, 2017, Pirelli headquarters in Milan welcomed the delegation headed by Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan. During the working visit the delegation members met with Marco Tronchetti Provera, Executive Vice Chairman and CEO, and top-management team of the Italian company. In the context of the meeting the parties agreed on strengthening of their business relations.
Among other matters, Matteo Battaini, Senior Vice President for Marketing and Supply Chain at Pirelli, and Timur Shigabutdinov, Deputy General Director and Commercial Director of Nizhnekamskneftekhim, set their hands to the contract for synthetic rubbers delivery in 2018. The companies used to successfully cooperate over the years. Both Pirelli’s investments in the Russian sector and sustainable perfection by Nizhnekamskneftekhim of its services and products quality contributed much to the companies’ collaboration enhancing.
