50-thousandth ton of halobutyl rubber produced

25 August 2006, Butyl Rubber Plant of “Nizhnekamskneftekhim” INC produced a 50-thousandth ton of halobutyl rubber.

The only-in-Russia commercial production of chloro-, bromobutyl types of rubber was commissioned in April 2004. New products were internationally recognized immediately: chlorobutyl and bromobutyl types of rubber won gold medals at the International Exhibitions “Chemistry 2005” and “Tires, Mechanical Rubber Items, Rubber” of 2005 and 2006.

The Plant is currently materializing the program to expand production of the above.
