The
work is being carried out as per the schedule for construction
of the second line of polystyrene production with capacity
of 50,000 tons per annum at Nizhnekamskneftekhim Inc.
The
estimated cost of the project shall be 1,566 million rubles.
Up to now over 70% of the planned investments have been
used. Equipment of polymerization section has been completely
installed, equipment of palletizing and bagging section
is being installed, also its piping is being mounted and
installation is continued on the cooling tower and silos
- tanks for storage of product pellets.
Polystyrene
pelletizing and bagging line on the second production stage
shall be equipped with dust collecting system. Bagging and
palletizing of the product will be performed in the automated
mode.
According
to A. Minullin, director of polystyrene plant, it is intended
to complete installation of the steel structures, instrumentation
and electric equipment in March-April this year. Commissioning
works will begin in May based on the schedule.
After
the second production line is put in operation the aggregate
capacity of polystyrene plant will reach 100,000 tons per
annum.
