On
January 27, 2005, Mr.Busygin, General Director of “Nizhnekamskneftekhim”
Inc. has hold a press conference on results of financial
and economical activities of the company in 2004 and prospects
for the year 2005.
According
to Mr. Busygin, from year to year the company is improving
technical and economic indices of its operations. The commodity
output in 2004 has made 31.6 billion rubles in existing
prices, having achieved a record-breaking yield of major
products, including butyl rubber, ethylene, propylene, benzene,
neonols etc. As a whole, increase in last year commodity
output amounted to 4.75% compared to that of 2003 in comparable
prices. Balance sheet profit is over 6 billion rubles. Almost
60 % of manufactured products were exported. Currently,
average monthly salary at our company amounts to 11 020
rubles.
Achieved results
have brought to a large scale realization of programs in
social sphere. Particularly, last year Nizhnekamskneftekhim”
Inc. assigned 191 million rubles for housing construction,
this has not only provided 20 000 square meters of accomodation,
but also allowed to make a reserve for 2005.
Vladmir Busygin
dwelt also on Nizhnekamskneftekhim” Inc. contribution to
municipal social programs. The total amount used in 2004
for construction, revamp and equipping of medical and other
institutions of Nizhnekamsk has made 100 million rubles.
In addition to this, Nizhnekamskneftekhim” Inc. has largely
contributed to construction of the city water treatment
unit, more than 450 million rubles have been allocated for
its reconstruction since the start of works at treatment
facility.
As for the enterprise
development perspectives , the general director noted that
Nizhnekamskneftekhim” Inc. has a large stability margin
from the financial point of view and is confident in its
future. Planned commodity output in 2005 was determined
as 35.3 billion rubles, the growth of commodity output and
physical volumes has been planned as 1.5%. For example,
isoprene rubber production is planned to be increased from
181 thousand tons to 185 thousand tons, butyl and halobutyl
rubbers – from 74 thousand tons to 85 thousand tons, polybutadiene
rubber ( on neodymium catalyst) – from 29 thousand tons
to 50 thousand tons, EPDM – from 10 thousand tons to 12
thousand tons.
About 7 billion
rubles have been provided for use in 2005 in accordance
with technical revamp and reconstruction program, including
5 billion rubles of loan assets. Particularly, it is planned
to finalize construction-installation works at one-stage
isoprene synthesis unit, to put into operation the second
polystyrene production line with the capacity of 50 thousand
tons per year, to increase the production of butyl rubber,
polybutadiene rubber ( on neodymium catalyst), to continue
the reconstruction of ethylene complex and construction
of polypropylene production.
339 million rubles
should be assigned according to financial planning of 2005
for maintenance of social infrastructure objects, 312 million
rubles – for social benefits and bonuses; it is planned
to construct 30 000 square meters of housing for company
employees.
Mr. Busygin has
also answered the questions of reporters on environment
protection, energy saving, joint projects with other Tatarstan
enterprises, youth policy and personnel training and others.
Above 30 reporters, representing Russian and republican
information agencies, newspapers and television and radio
broadcasting companies participated in press conference.
