Bromobutyl rubber BBK 232, being produced
at Butyl Rubber Plant of “Nizhnekamskneftekhim” INC, has
been certified and approved for every Michelin European
factory, and incorporated into Quality Assurance Program
of this Company. That information came in a letter to NKNK
from the Technology Centre of “Michelin”.
Commercial production of halobutyl rubber
at “Nizhnekamskneftekhim” INC was launched in April 2004.
Since the start of commercial production, the Plant has
produced about 4000 tons, including bromobutyl rubber BBK
232 – 2500 tons.
