R. Minnikhanov, TR Prime Minister, presided
at the out session of November 1, which discussed first
priority arrangements in order to establish the industrial
okrug.
Reports were delivered by A. Pakhomov, TR Deputy Prime Minister-Minister
for Economy & Industry, Kh. Salikhov, Minister of Trade
& External Economic Cooperation.
V. Busygin, General Director of “Nizhnekamskneftekhim” INC,
said in his speech at the session that participation of
the Company in small and medium businesses was not reduced
to feedstock supply. Right now, NKNK is a co-founder of
around 20 subsidiary and dependent firms, which total production
volume amounts to over RUR 1.7bn per annum.
NKNK makes a rather attractive company for establishing
the industrial okrug, which major objective shall be to
set up and develop small and medium businesses. Developing
the industrial okrug will make it possible to increase the
number of jobs, volume of sales and receipt of tax payments
to the Budget.
