Application of a state-of-the-art automated control system at “Nizhnekamskneftekhim” Inc is no ordinary event. In mid 90's, none of the Russian companies ever dreamt of such projects. Il will take several years yet to fully appreciate that innovation. However, right now gaining from the experience of implementing such worldwide projects in different industries of Russia , one may definitely say: setting up a corporative integrated system based on software product R/3 at “Nizhnekamskneftekhim” Inc will yield a comparable-to-nothing effect.
To date, 10 of 11 NKNK Plants are already connected to a material reporting system. The results obtained allow for an inference as to how transparent and informative becomes the Company's operation. Right today, each Plant activities can be tracked on a daily basis: observance of consumption rates, flow of wastes and losses. Business process and setting for purchase and sale are being described. A “Sales” module is practically prepared for productive operation. Printing of covering documents has been finalized at one of the Ethylene Oxide Plant Sections. That engineering solution will have to be replicated in other sales sections of “Nizhnekamskneftekhim” Inc.
