28-30 March, Milan played host to the Days of the Tatarstan Economy in the Italian Republic . The delegation led by R. Minnikhanov, prime minister, included V. Busygin – General Director of “Nizhnekamskneftekhim” Inc, R. Ilyasov – General Director of “Nizhnekamskshina” Inc, I. Metshin – Mayor of Nizhnekamsk.

In the “Milan Marriott” hotel, Tatarstan represented exhibits, which constituted, in a way, business cards of the Companies. Our exhibits, booklets, leaflets, catalogues, “live” samples of all rubber types and polystyrene allowed the officials, business representatives and business elite of Italy to acquaint themselves with a wide range of products made at Nizhnekamskneftekhim Inc.

In line with the event, there were held several panel discussions including the problems of the Petrochemical Complex. In his report, V. Busygin dwelt on achievements and vistas of the Company's development. The General Director spoke of the need to expand mutually beneficial cooperation, having focused on the domains of fruitful travail with the Italian companies taking into account their huge experience in manufacturing consumer goods.
