NKNK pays close attention to the quality of products. In September 2002, the Company's quality management system was certificated to comply with the requirements of ISO 9002-94 by “Bureau Veritas” firm. All NKNK subdivisions are currently making adjustments for switching to the new ISO 9001-2000 standard.

Styrene and Polyester Resin Plant has successfully passed a certificating audit of type ISO-14001 in the environmental protection and has become the first enterprise in the Tatarstan Republic to have such a certificate received. Ethylene Oxide Plant is currently preparing for that standard certification. At the same time, all general- purpose subdivisions of the Company are preparing for the environmental protection auditing.
