As for the major product – isoprene – there was a record output.

The output was increased for the whole range of products including that of small capacity production units. By the way, flow charts of some petrochemical product units, for example of coke benzene, called for a considerable reconstruction.

In tote, the past year constituted a breakthrough period for the Synthetic Rubber Plant in producing isoprene. The year 2002 evidenced a little bit more than 63,000 tons, while the year 2003 – 87,634 tons. The Plant had never achieved such level of isoprene output since 1991.
